Howes and Boughton is a family run business in Letchworth Garden City, providing building, decorating, electrical and roofing services. After serving in the Second World War, Tom Howes and Bill Boughton returned home to start work for a small builder. They later asked for a small wage rise, but were refused, as a result the two friends came together and in September of 1947 founded Howes and Boughton Building Company. A family run company that has prospered throughout its 68 years of business and has become one of the most respected and successful building, decorating, electrical and roofing contractors in Letchworth Garden City.
